Can't Stop Staring: Halle Berry

With just enough sophistication and the right amount of sexy, Halle Berry looked phenomenal in this mauve body-hugging dress by Gucci. She attended the 30th Annual Silver Rose Gala on April 18th, 2010 in this stylish number. A take on the classic shift dress, the frock gave Ms. Berry a Michelle Obama-esque silhouette, but the cut-outs along her mid-drift and neckline provided edge. It proved yes you can be classy while showing a little skin. Berry’s simple do, minimal make up, and neutral toned platforms gave way for all eyes to be on this fabulous dress! That is if anyone could take their eyes off her gorgeous face.

Beauty Pick of the Week: MAC Cremestick Liner

MAC's cremestick lip liner is a water-resistant, twist-up liner that glides on smooth. This liner is great for preventing lipstick or lip gloss from that unsightly bleeding. Cremestick is also long wearing. No matter if you eat or drink you will always have remaining color!

Epitome of Style: Kate Moss

Yves Saint Laurent said it best, “Fashions change, style is eternal”. Fashions have come and gone and come back again since July 1990, when über super model Kate Moss graced her first magazine cover, The Face (above). She came on the scene at 16 years old and has been wowing us for years with her bohemian-chic style. The British model has won countless “Best Dressed” awards in the last 20 years, which is no surprise. She has surely learned a thing or two about style from campaigns for Calvin Klein, Versace, Burberry, and Louis Vuitton, walking international runways for Chanel, Chloe, and Christian Dior, and over 300 plus magazine covers.

Can't Stop Staring: Mary J. Blige

Mary J. Blige looked remarkable at the 3rd Annual Bet Honors, which were held at the Warner Theatre in Washington D.C. on January 11th. The mermaid-shaped asymmetrical black dress hugged her curves, and showed off her flawless silhouette. It was all about the dress; Blige wore minimal accessories. The black hoop earrings and apple red nail polish gave the classic look an edgy-contemporary appeal. Her bouffant blond coif also added a little hip-hop flare to this polished look! The 3rd Annual BET Honors will air on February 1st at 8 pm on BET.

Coco Before Chanel: Movie Summary (Movie Trailer Inside)

“Coco, Coco Coco” is a portion of the chorus to the song that Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel (Audrey Tautou) and her sister Adrienne Chanel (Marie Gillain) sing as they perform in a small bar in Moulins, France. It isn’t a glamorous life at all. She is born poor in1883 in a small French city, an orphan for most of her young life. Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel would go on to create Chanel, the label of classic and chic silhouettes that is still one of the most recognizable brands today. Her life prior to the label is intricate and inspiring.
